Vanya Yakovlev lives with his mother in Irkutsk. The boy is 5 years old; his disease history started from his very birth. His obstetrical hypoxia resulted in bilateral cerebral paralysis. All the time the little family has been fighting for Vanya’s health. Owing to the numerous rehabilitations and treatment the child has learnt to crawl a bit, sit, stand at a support and make several steps. But ICP goes hand in hand with deformity of joints; Vanya has problems with hip joints and needs orthoses for proper feet setting. The enormous financial load on the mother does not let provide Vanya with everything he needs; therefore, the family applied to us for help to pay for the set of the necessary orthoses. |
